Male & Female Fertility Screening

Helping couples understand their reproductive health.
Fertility screening is a series of medical tests designed to assess a man or woman's ability to conceive. It helps identify any potential obstacles to pregnancy and supports couples with expert advice and next steps.

Female Fertility Screening Includes

  • Hormone blood tests (FSH, LH, Prolactin, and more)

  • Ovulation tracking

  • Ultrasound to assess uterus and ovaries

  • Menstrual cycle review

  • Personalised fertility counselling

Male Fertility Screening Includes:

    • Semen analysis (sperm count, shape, and movement)

    • Hormone blood tests (Testosterone, FSH, LH if needed)

    • Medical and lifestyle assessment

    • Personalised fertility counselling

Why Consider Fertility Screening?

  • If you’ve been trying to conceive for 6–12 months without success

  • To detect and address any underlying fertility concerns

  • To plan fertility treatments or make informed lifestyle changes

  • For clarity, peace of mind, and expert guidance

FAQs

If you’ve been trying to fall pregnant for 12 months (or 6 months if over 35 years) without success, testing helps find out why. Infertility can be due to male factors (40%), female factors (40%), or both partners (20%). That’s why it’s important for both partners to be tested.

  • Semen analysis – checks sperm count, movement (motility), and shape (morphology).

  • Blood tests – hormones like testosterone, FSH, LH, prolactin, thyroid.

  • Physical exam – to check for varicoceles or other problems.

  • Special tests (if needed) – e.g., DNA fragmentation or scrotal ultrasound.
  • Hormone blood tests – progesterone, FSH, LH, estradiol, prolactin, thyroid.
  • Ultrasound scan – to check ovaries, uterus, and ovulation.
  • Ovulation check – Day 21 progesterone test confirms if ovulation occurred.
  • Other tests (if needed) – HSG (to check fallopian tubes), laparoscopy, AMH (egg reserve test).

We understand it may feel awkward, but it’s a private, simple test done discreetly.

Sooner if periods are irregular, there is known medical history, or if there has been previous miscarriage.
